Watch D.O.G.S.

WATCH DOGS is a national program that promotes Dads or father figures to spend a day in school so that students can see the impact of male figures in an educational environment.    During the day, the Watch DOGS Dad will spend some time in his child’s class, have lunch with his child, as well as help support some other areas in the school such as cafeteria duty, PE, etc.   It is a rewarding experience for both Dad and student!  Sawnee’s school counselors manage the scheduling for Watch DOGS.   If you are interested in being a WATCH DOG, please contact Ruthie Urban at [email protected]

There will be a meeting for interested Dads in September for explanation of the program and training. We will explain the sign up process at the meeting. Date is TBA and will be on our Sawnee website.
